Letters of Recommendation

CSU and UC do not require letters of recommendation.

1.       A good letter of recommendation requires time, do not wait until the last minute. Give the person writing your letter a minimum of two weeks.

2.     Most private colleges require two teacher recommendations and one school official.

3.     You will be asked to complete a Senior “Brag Sheet” or information sheet before any letter of will be written. This information will ask you to talk about your goals, interests, and activities in school and outside of school. It will also ask you to provide input from and important adult in your life. The more information people have about you the better the letter!
