Applying to the California State University
System
(San Jose State, Cal Poly, SLO, Chico State etc……)
q A limited number of paper applications will be available in the Guidance Department.
q All applications are available at www.csumentor.edu
q Required testing : SAT I or ACT only
q Cal Poly,SLO, San Diego State and Chico State are impacted schools .
q All Testing for the above schools should be completed by October 2003.
q Application filing is the entire month of October and November.
q All schools in the CSU system prefer the on-line application process.
q The application fee is $55.00
q Do not send a transcript with the application.
q No essay is required.
q Plan to attend the CSU application workshop in the library when announced on the video bulletin.
A CSU rep will walk you through the application process and answer questions about the 23 CSU campuses.
